About Us TV Furniture World and the Stand & Deliver Group Ltd (S&D) aim to provide top quality audio/visual furniture at the most competitive prices possible in the United Kingdom.
Product will be supplied at realistic prices, without any hidden extra charges or special terms/conditions outside those contained herein.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders received by S&D online or via e-mail, telephone and post. Placement of an order using these methods indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
These terms and conditions do not affect customers' statutory rights.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
All products offered on the TV Furniture World website are subject to availability. Should an item be out of stock it will be ordered from the supplier automatically and the customer notified and advised of the estimated delivery timescale. The customer has an option to cancel the order should a delay be unacceptable.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Switch and Maestro. Payment card details are taken in our secure checkout, which uses 128 bit encryption. The value of orders placed from outside the United Kingdom will be converted to local currency by the credit card company.
Receipt of orders placed via the internet is confirmed by return e-mail. It does not signify that a contract as yet exists between S&D and the customer. Acceptance of an order, and hence the existence of a contract, is confirmed when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable before initiating despatch.
All required fields and sections of the online order forms must be completed with the correct information to avoid subsequent delays in order processing.
Entry of customer and payment details is received by S&D's Secure Server and verified for our mutual security. Should proof of identification and/or address be required we will contact you. We will also contact you should any problems arise regarding debit/credit card authorisation. |
Delivery Options Orders will be scheduled for despatch within 1 to 5 working days from date of acceptance. assuming stock availability. However, whilst every effort will be made to ensure deliveries are made on the scheduled day, S&D cannot be held responsible for any failed deliveries. This is because we are reliant on external couriers whose actions are beyond our control. In such instances deliveries will be re-scheduled for a mutually convenient date.
Where a delivery has failed, resulting in return of the item to S&D by the courier, an additional delivery charge at the same rate as the original will be levied on redelivery.
Delivery charges are shown on our site and are applicable for MAINLAND UK deliveries only. Charges for deliveries to other territories are subject to individual quotation.
As payments are made via credit/debit card, it is vital that the customer provides the exact billing address and telephone number which is held by the card provider. Any incorrect information provided will cause delays in order processing. Orders will only be processed once an authorisation notification has been received from the card company.
S&D shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of ordered products.
Products sent to remote parts of the United Kingdom may take longer to deliver. |
Delivery Schedule We will despatch your order right away, subject to availability. We will normally send your order to you within 5 business days. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, it will be automatically ordered for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
Tax Charges All prices displayed on the TV Furniture World website include V.A.T. at 17.5%. |
Credit Card Security When an order is placed on our web site, credit/debit card details are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. Details are only decrypted after they reach our secure servers. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
Guarantee Ownership of products supplied by TV Furniture World will pass to the customer on receipt at the delivery address. Any and all communications with S&D shall be with the customer only.
All products supplied are covered by the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions and stipulated guarantee period. |

Returns Policy If products arrive in a damaged condition, the customer must make a note on the courier's consignment note. It is the customer's responsibility to notify S&D within 3 days of receipt by fax or e-mail.
It is the customer's responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the courier's consignment note and report any shortages to S&D within 3 days of receipt by fax or e-mail.
All goods must be checked thoroughly prior to signing at time of delivery as neither S&D nor our couriers can be held responsible for any claims for damages or shortages arising thereafter.
It is the customer's responsibility to notify S&D of any incorrect goods supplied within 3 days of receipt.
S&D will not accept any liability for products lost in transit unless notified within 10 days of the expected delivery date.
Potential replacement of damaged or defective goods will only be made after receipt and inspection of said goods by S&D's personnel at their premises. All returns must be with the original manufacturers packaging.
The customer may cancel the order within 14 days from the day after receipt of the goods. The purchase price, less carriage, of unwanted goods returned to S&D in their original condition and with their original packaging will be refunded. The customer is liable for all carriage charges relating to the return of unwanted items. Alternatively, the opportunity to negotiate an exchange for an item of the same value will be made available.
S&D will not refund, exchange or repair free of charge any goods damaged, marked or no longer of merchantable quality.
Any refund due will be processed within 30 days from the date of cancellation of an order.

Privacy Policy TV Furniture World and S&D do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

S&D do not sell or transmit any customer's personal information, including e-mail addresses, to any organisation for any purpose other than for processing orders placed with us (where necessary).
Where there is sufficient evidence to suggest that fraud is being perpetrated, S&D reserve the right to pass identification, such as name, address, email and ISP details, to other businesses, fraud databases and relevant authorities. |
